Product Information
Thermal-Flect Eco Primer® Flame Retardant is a Class “A” Flame Spread technical coating. It is a high quality white-pigmented multi purpose acrylic primer that is fortified with a high-strength, environmentally-friendly blend of organic microspheres which are non-toxic and provide a thermal insulating barrier. The flame-retardant coating forms a coating surface and insulates the substrate from the flame, consequently slowing flame spread. This general-use thermal insulating barrier provides a protective shield by deflecting the hot sun rays during the summer and insulating against the cold temperatures in the winter. Reducing heating and cooling requirements for any home, school, office, and commercial and industrial building saves hundreds to thousands of dollars annually in heating/cooling costs.

How it Works
Thermal-Flect Eco Primer ®Flame Retardant contains a multitude of single microspheres. Their spherical shape allows them to act like ball bearings, rolling upon each other, thus allowing the coating to flow more easily. As the paint begins to dry, the coating shrinks to a tightly packed layer of hard, hollow microspheres. The dense layer reflects, refracts and dissipates heat by minimizing the path for heat transfer of solar rays and UV rays being radiated back to the atmosphere through the coating.

Thermal-Flect Eco Primer® is a high quality exterior and interior multi purpose white-pigmented acrylic primer fortified with a high strength environmentally friendly blend of organic microspheres which are non-toxic and provide a thermal insulating barrier. This general-use thermal insulting barrier provides a protective shield by deflecting the hot sun rays during the summer and insulating against the cold temperatures in the winter. Reducing heating and cooling requirements for any homes, schools, office, commercial and industrial buildings saves hundreds to thousands of dollars annually in reduced heating/cooling costs. It can be used on a new or poor-conditioned wall and ceiling surfaces; ideal in sealing cracks on stucco and wood-sidings. Appropriate sealing surfaces include: brick, ceilings, concrete, drywall, masonry, plaster, stucco and wood.
Thermal-Flect Eco Primer® may be top coated with either latex or oil based paint or used as final coat for textured ceilings, attics, dropped ceilings, painted plaster, metal, stucco, painted wood and other surfaces.
